Ainsdale Cricket Club are looking forward to what hopefully will be a “Normal” season in 2021 after a Covid ruined 2020 season. The committee & newly formed Badgers have hit the ground running and aim to re-energise the whole section with ground improvements and events throughout the coming year. Martyn Farrell, Dave Newcombe & Ken Wrightcontinue as 1st, 2nd & 3rd Team Captains. The club has engaged Pakistani 1st Class cricketer Umaid Asif as its overseas professional and much is expected of the 6ft 5in fast bowler. A big emphasis is being placed this season on invigorating the junior section and hopefully increasing the numbers of local boys & girls enjoying the summer game.
